BASTUN Autumn meeting and NFS Decent Work Conference

We have the pleasure to invite you to the BASTUN Autumn meeting and NFS Decent Work Conference to discuss how to ensure Workers’ rights in a Nordic-Baltic perspective.

The event will take place in Riga 2-3 October and precedes the World Day of Decent Work later same week. Please note that the date, that previously was set to the 3-4 October, has been changed due to the ETUC Congress Preparatory Committee that will be assembled in Brussels the 4th of October.

  • BASTUN priorities for the meeting departures from the priorities that was presented by the next presidency, which are Mobility of Labour under fair conditions and prevention of Social fraud, Strengthening Social dialogue and working for more balanced representation between TU and Business interests and Data protection.
  • The theme of the NFS-conference on Decent Work is aiming on the first pillar in the Decent Work agenda and will, in a Nordic-Baltic perspective, focus on Nordic companies in the Baltics, OECD:s Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and ILO:s supervisory mechanisms.
We welcome your attendance!
